Crashes like crazy

Somehow his version crashes even more than the last one did. Cant be in the background even for a few minutes with other workout apps being used without crashing and losing all your workout progress. So while the redesign feels a little more modern, this feels like 1990s Microsoft computing in how much it just crashes and trashes your progress. Really it might not even be crashes, just the app being too stupid to know what to do when it gets shuffled out of memory, but a crash seems less embarrassing for the dev so thats what Im assuming it is. No other app on my 6s with the most recent OS seem to have this problem. (Or at least theyre smarter about recovering without losing data.)

Use for the salary bonus

This app is pretty poor in comparison with things like Strava. Its rather buggy, and doesnt play well with some Garmin devices, especially when uploading files. It is also limited in its ability to edit and correct errors. There are better apps out there for workout tracking and fitness analysis but I need to use this one in order to get a salary bonus for exercise- otherwise I wouldnt bother with it.

Not worth the download & or worth the $ for the upgrade!

Pretty disappointed with this app as well as icardio. I only downloaded it in order to log activity and sync with my Fitbit to earn a work incentive. I recently updated to the Apple Watch and now am unable to sync anything. Its unfortunate that I can not use apples app directly (instead of this app). The built in app with Apple is pretty flawless compared to fitdigits. I even paid to upgrade the fitdigit app which was a waste of money for what I expected to get out of it. No syncing of my activity data equals lost incentive :(

Made a hater into a lover (of exercise).

User friendly. Love the updates during your workout. I hated exercise and this has given me the motivation to start. Ive become a BeColorado junkie.

Needs multiuser support, nice start

Would like to set a zone time and have the app only count time my HR is in that zone before moving to the next.

Not impressed!

No ANT+ support for this app!! Most other apps developed by iTMP support ANT+. Wanted to use this with CUs Move program, but now I need to buy even more hardware. Compatibility | Purchase link under My Sensors Heart Rate Monitors take you right to a page on DigitFit website with ANT+ cardio bundle. I have one of these and it doesnt work with this app

Fix the force close

Terrible app. Always force closes before Im done working out, so my data is never saved!

Move Colorado

It keeps me motivated.

Solid app. Motivating. Accurate.

My company uses be Colorado as a motivating app to get their employees moving. I get $25 a month if I exercise more than 12 days per month according to this app. Surprisingly, I exercise way more than 12 days per month because its easy to track my exercises whether I bike, walk with my family, or do other cardio like karate. I highly recommend this app.

Great exercise tracking

I use this app to track exercise as part of my companys wellness program. The app works great and I love the updates in the newest version. Its cool how it tracks both distance and elevation.

Very usable exercise app

Ive been using this app regularly while I commute to work by bicycle over the past year. The app has turned out to be useful at tracking my weight, blood-pressure and pulse. The app has been reliable, without crashes, while in use about 3 times per week on an iPad 2. My employer pays me a small health incentive each month that I get in 12 or more qualified workouts, but I find the app actually useful and fun to use. Because of the size of the iPad I run on, I havent purchased the heart rate sensor in-app option or matching hardware, since that requires bluetooth, which is a line of sight technology, and the iPad rides in my backpack inside a pannier on the back of my bike. I suspect a heart rate monitor on the front of my chest is not going to have a reliable connection with this setup (although I admit I havent given it a try because of the cost of the equipment). Im also not going to mount an iPad on my handlebars or strap it to my arm the way you could do with an iPhone. I do suggest to the developers that they add the ability to recall past workout descriptions (over 50 times last year I entered "Commute to work" in my bike workout entries).

Starfish

Great app. Love that it calculates everything for you

not there yet

Overall some nice features but some errors and gotchas. Difficult to figure out how to pause a workout. Then big problem is that it is easy to hit the “End Workout” button instead of the “Resume Workout” button. There should be a confirm end window. The ascent and descent values are very inaccurate, often don’t match on a loop route, and sometimes are less than the ascent shown on the elevation graph. Possibly because of the inaccurate elevation estimates the calorie estimates are ridiculous. Can’t figure out any way to link it to Apple’s new Health App. On the positive side the map is very nice and always seems very accurate. The app handles a wide variety of activities and I like being able to customize the feedback rates for the different activities. If the basic app doesn’t work well, I’m definitely not going to buy the upgrades.

Very unpolished app

This app has a lot of built in functionality (e.g. GPS tracking, manual workout entry, etc), however these functions are all but unusable due to errors and crashes. Nine times out of ten when I try to track myself with this app it will randomly stop tracking me (usually about ten minutes after I started it). The developers should focus on slimming down the app and making the parts that they keep actually work rather than having a large assortment of functions that perform poorly or not at all. PS - I have an iPhone 5. Ive performed all of the customary troubleshooting steps (e.g. reset phone, delete and reinstall app, etc.). No improvement.

Absolutely wonderful

I love it

Good app

I like that you can create custom workout types in addition to the generic ones that come pre-set. The quick-start option rarely works faster than the traditional way, though. I would like a way to track steps throughout the day without having to purchase additional hardware, but otherwise I love it & am definitely working out more thanks to this app!

Terrific!

Very effective and convenient.

A little old school but good app

Good app with solid functionality. Especially when Im getting $25 a month for being active!

Excellent app

This app really encourages competition within yourself. I am always trying to beat my bike riding times and constantly get better. Any activity app that encourages progress is an excellent app

So frustrating I just use the Fitbit app instead

I *want* to like this app so much, but it is so finicky, slow, and prone to crashing I just cant. I recommend hopping on to Fitbit and just syncing your workouts through there. It doesnt rid you of crashes during syncing, but its better than having to use the Be Colorado app. That being said, I LOVE the Be Colorado Move program itself. Please improve the app to be as awesome as the program!
